Introduction

The Adult Services area, located in The Randolph and Estelle Dorn Addition on Level 1, provides assistance at the Reader's Advisory Desk and features a gallery for browsing new books, magazines, and newspapers. The fiction, large print, paperback collections, teen collection, mysteries, science fiction, and westerns, as well as the Library's collection of audiobooks, music CDs, videos, and DVDs are located in this area. The Library's on-going book sale is also featured on this level.

Beyond the fiction section, you will find the Library's Quiet Reading Room. Comfortable leather chairs, two couches, and a pair of writing desks provide a quiet place to read. Special features of this room include an ornately carved bookcase and two John James Audubon prints from the 1834 Havell Edition.
