Get a Library Card
Library Cards Are Free
You must bring your library card to borrow items from the Library or to use a computer.
You can get a free card at Sandusky Library. You will need a photo ID and proof of your current address to apply.
Library Card Sign Up is located in the Main Lobby of the Randolph and Estelle Dorn Addition.
Children under the age of 18 may have their own cards. Parents/Guardians are required to sign for the card.

Your library card is like your credit card. You are responsible for anything borrowed with your card. If you lose your card, tell staff right away. There is a small charge to replace a card.
When you first get your library card, you will be limited to five (5) items checked out on your library card until it has been verified. It takes approximately 12 weeks to verify your card.
The Library's records are confidential.
We now have a library card for children - our 3 for Me! card. Click on the image below for details.

This publication gives parents and guardians the information that they need to talk to their children about issues like cyberbullying, social networking sites (like Facebook), inappropriate online content, violence online, and hate speech. Library staff encourages parents and guardians to review this information with their children.
