One of Sandusky Library’s most important roles has been helping children and their parents with school assignments. The Homework Center features fifteen computers, reference materials, teacher/parent packaged lessons, and study tables. After school help is provided by volunteer teens, retired teachers, and others interested in helping students improve academically.

Click here to view the publication Keeping Kids Safer on the Internet. This publication gives parents and guardians the information that they need to talk to their children about issues like cyberbullying, social networking sites (like Facebook), inappropriate online content, violence online, and hate speech. The publication is given to the parent or guardian upon registering a minor child for a library card and is also available in Children's Services. Library staff encourages parents and guardians to review this information with their children.
